    Norwoods was recommended to us by the owners of the cabins we were staying at, and visiting this restaurant was one of the highlights of our trip. The night we went was quite busy so we were seated at the bar, which turned out to be the best seat in the house. We were able to see all the dishes being meticulously prepared and chat with Richard, the owner, and Phil, his chef. The cocktails are always interesting - I love the Caesar made with infused vodka. The food is always outstanding and ridiculously fresh. We've visited some really great restaurants in Vancouver and Norwoods is definitely playing in their league. Since then, we've been back to Ucluelet two more times and always make a point to visit Norwoods.... last year we were in town for six nights and went to Norwoods three of them. Highly recommended!
